Vista - old but new. Email but from winPE

Hello,

Using vbscript/wsh within WinPE environment. I need to send an email. If I
were not in winPE I know I could:

1. use cdo.message

or

2. script a telnet session directly with the smtp server (using shell.Exec)

But... I'm in a WinPE image. I checked and no telnet.exe and when trying to
create the cdo.message object I get the 'Activex component can't create
object: cdo.message' error.

so what are my options here? The simplest thing I can think of is adding the
right version of telnet.exe to the winPE image but I would prefer the
cdo.message route... could I add cdo to winPE image?

anyone have any ideas, options?
