| | Need help with a vbs script Hello everyone, I am running MSDE 2000 to backup a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. Blow is the .vbs script that I am using to back the server up. Can someone help me edit the script to do a restore? What the script does is backup the data each day and place it in a folder by the name of the date. for example, I want to restor the folder called "D:\20081017". Within that folder are the following files - ADMINBackup.bak, ITBackup.bak, LCBackup.bak, SPBackup.bat, SPSCBackup.bak and spbrtoc.xml. Here is the script: ' New sites need to be added to this script or they will NOT be backedup! Option Explicit Dim objFSO im dNow, yy, mm, dd im NewFolder im wsSet objFSO = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject") dNow = Now yy = Year(dNow) mm = Right("00" & Month(dNow), 2) dd = Right("00" & Day(dNow), 2) NewFolder = "D:\SharePointBackup\" & yy & mm & dd 'Create the folder objFSO.CreateFolder NewFolder Set ws=CreateObject("WScript.Shell") ' Site Backups ws.Run "stsadm -o backup -url http://wtamusp01:44327/sites/it -filename " & NewFolder & "\ITBackup.bak" ws.Run "stsadm -o backup -url http://wtamusp01:44327/sites/lc -filename " & NewFolder & "\LCBackup.bak" ws.Run "stsadm -o backup -url http://wtamusp01:44327/sites/sp -filename " & NewFolder & "\SPBackup.bak" ws.Run "stsadm -o backup -url http://wtamusp01:44327/sites/spsc -filename " & NewFolder & "\SPSCBackup.bak" ws.Run "stsadm -o backup -url http://wtamusp01:44327/ssp/admin -filename " & NewFolder & "\ADMINBackup.bak" ' Full Server Farm Backup ws.Run "stsadm -o backup -directory " & NewFolder & " -backupmethod full" WScript.Quit TIA, Clayton |
