| Vista Home Premium 32bit SP2 | How to check Visual Basic 6 Service Pack I have Visual Basic 6 and I want to patch it to service pack 6 but: 1. I don't know which service pack I'm currently using (if any at all) 2. If I have a service pack such as 3 or 4, can I update directly to 6? When I open VB6 and go to "Help> About Microsoft Visual Basic..." it says "Version 8176" and "VBA: Retail 6.0.8169" at the bottom. |

| | Re: How to check Visual Basic 6 Service Pack First, this is not a VB group. VBScript is different. For VB try microsoft.public.vb.general.discussion When you open the "About" menu it should show the service pack number in parentheses near the top, like so: Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 (SPx) x is the service pack number. You might want to consider getting SP5. There were some bugs with SP6. Quote: > 2. If I have a service pack such as 3 or 4, can I update directly to 6? |
