Vista - RS232 COM-Port handler

Hello Team,

I am searching for some help on VBS to talk to a mobile connected to the com
port on my PC.
I have established a hyperterminal connection to it and can control it
manualy.
Now I would like to do some commands like reading incoming SMS and sending
SMS by a litle VBS.

I did some internetbrowsing but found nothing that brought me on the right
street.

Here some details about the steps I need to perform:

1. check for unread SMS frequently and load them into the script
2. Send new SMS to different receipients.

The mobile I wont to use for this is an older Siemens S35 that is only
capable of PDU-Mode.

Who can help?

If the phone supports the AT Commands it's easy to ask for the number of unread sms's and
read them.
I never tried, but perhaps the mscomm object could be used to send and retrieve data from
the phone.
