| | how to delete/rename log file use by process Hello- I need some help in vb scripting for delete/rename a log file say server.log which is use by java application and log keeps growing. I want to roll over this log every midnight and and start the new log with fress entry. I tried simple delete/rename command scripts but I get error " file is used by another process" and can archive the log and it keep growing in size which is difficult to manage or stop the process to do the cleanup. thanks, Ajay system administrator |
