Script: read a registry key

I need a script that I read a registry key and tell me whether or not, and
if it exists, delete it.
Can be done through a batch script?
Thank you.

Yes, it can be done in a batch file - see here:

If you want to delete the key then you don't need to read it first - just go
ahead and attempt to delete it, whether it exists or not.
