Unzipping archives via commandline or script

Hello,

Hope someone here can help.

How to unzip files using command line or a script. I tried Winrar which I
have used to create archives via command line but apparently the winrar
command line util is not able to unzip regular ZIP files? The same program
in GUI unzips ZIP's just fine however. In command prompt it says just that
file is not a RAR acrhive (which it indeed is not ;-)

Any other methods? Vbscript?

Thanks
W
