| | URL Submission/Organization for a website. Hi: I own a 500 person e-mail list for rockhounding/mineralogy, and I'm rebuilding the support website to go along with it. I would like our user base to be able to submit links for the website. Before I reinvent the wheel, I figured I'd ask here; I'm looking for: --A shareware/freeware ASP app. --Allow users to enter in a URL and a description, and mark which category(s) it should appear in, e.g. Other mailing lists, blog, minerals, fossils, commercial website, etc. --Password protected would be OK, but really isn't necessary. I figured I'd just review the links and have a field only available to me to make that link live. Otherwise, PW protection is fine. --I'd prefer Access (though gosh, I haven't worked in Access for several years) but I can use MySQL (which I've never used) or MSSQL (which I'm really familiar with, but would have to pay a setup fee for) with my hosting company. --I'm good with vbscript, javascript, MSSQL, OK with Access (probably) and know nothing about PHP or MySQL. :P Anyone know of anything that might fit that bill, before I start from scratch? (Sorry to be lazy, but there are lots of other features I need to add to this puppy.) Thanks, Julie |

A "simulated" search engine in many ways. I'll need to decide if it would be quicker to start from scratch with vbscript. Thanks again, Julie |
