    UNC - Permission

    I have a program on a server. I'd on the server's D drive.

When I use "D:\.....setup.exe " as a path n the run command it works.

However when I use the unc as a path such as "\\ServerName....\setup.exe I
    get a permission error.

What do I need to do to fix this?

    Thanks.

This is really an operating system issue, not a scripting issue, and it
would help stating the OS you use. My guess is that the *share* permissions
on your server are too restrictive. Most people set them to "Full Access"
    for everyone.

    Thanks.

I'm using win 2003 server and I have everyone, full access for everything in
    the path.

Is there anything else that I'm overlooking?

    Thanks again.

Forget about scripts - try to access the shared folder from a Command
Prompt. I suspect you will see the same problem. If you do, repost in a
    Server newsgroup.
