WMI and WIN 2003

i used this code
http://computerperformance.co.uk/vbs...inistrator.htm
to search for a content inside the Message property (which show that data
in
the Description part fo the event).
the problem is that on winXP there is no problem and i recive the value,
but on win2003 i get empty data
any idea why?
btw : i work as an admin on the server.

Thanks i nadvance

Re: WMI and WIN 2003

I have no trouble with running the script on multiple operating systems.
Some followup questions for you. A few may seem silly, but check anyway. : )

(1) When you say you get "empty data" on Win 2003, what do you mean? The
event680.txt file is empty?

(2) Have you modified the script at all? If so, please post the modified
form so we can see it.

(3) Are you _sure_ you have events with that particular ID in the event log
on the Windows 2003 system?
