Creating an instance of event

Hi,

I am trying to use HP SIM to monitor events on my Windows systems.

It works fine for the things it wants to monitor, such as disk failures etc...

But I want to to send events back to HP SIM for other things such as service
failures etc... I am using WBEM/WMI instead of SNMP...

So I have come to the conclusion that HP has registered several Event
Filters and Event Consumers, and the two that look particularly promising are
HP_AlertIndication and HP_ThresholdIndication... and the event filters are
select * from each one...

Problem is, how can I write a vbscript, which instantiates one of these so I
can get that sent too!
