Scripting network printer changes - problem

We had a print server that went bad, and a new server was created with a
new name. A script was created that is supposed to go through the
printers on a machine and change them from the old server name to the
new server name. We've tried using both
WshNetwork.EnumPrinterConnections and objWMIService.ExecQuery("Select *
from Win32_Printer"). We've been having problems with the script, and
have narrowed it down to the fact that both methods totally ignore the
printer if the status is 'Unable to Connect' (which they are since the
old print server is gone). Does anyone have a method we can use to
change these printers? I need to be able to change a user's printer from
using the old server to the new server automatically with a script. We
can see the printers in 'Printers and Faxes', but cannot find a good way
to get them changed from '\\oldserver\printer' to '\\newserver\printer'
since we cannot find a method that will return these printers that I
guess Windows sees as 'bad'.

Thanks.
