Newb - automate IE8 fix

Hi

Windows 7
IE8

Total newbie to scripting but have some experience with VBA.

I provide support for laptops. The configuration allow me to access cmd
prompt and run some commands but running a .bat is locked while scripting
seems to work (msgbox "hello").

Regularly users lose access to wireless (reasons vary). At present, I run
through a series of processes to fix the problem but would like to automate
this.

Using vbs, how would I.

1) Check if IE8 is open or open it.
2) Select Tools, Internet Options,
(a) Advanced tab, Reset.
(b) General tab, Delete
3) Close IE8
4) Run Ipconfig /Release, Ipconfig/FlushDNS, Ipconfig /Renew
5) Restart the machine.
