Can you provide more info?

With VPC, simply click between the windows. Before you install the VM
Additions you'll need to use the right-ALT key to release your mouse
from the VM.

To switch between the host and a guest, or between two guests, use your
mouse in exactly the same way as you would switch between e.g. Word and
Excel...

From this guys 2 posts which are 6 minutes apart, I seriously doubt he is
using VPC or even knows what it is.

If you operating the VM in a windowed mode, that is you can see your host
desktop, the mouse-between-windows method will work so long as VM additions
has been installed -- or you can alt-tab between running apps.

If you are running the guest full screen mode, neither of those methods will
work. You will have to do a alt-enter to window the guest or shutdown of
the guest to get to the host.
