| | Links 2001 - Virual PC 2007 I wanted to play a little golf on my pc, and had an old copy of Microsoft Links 2001. I installed it in a Windows XP virtual pc, it installs well, except when first launching the game it is unable to verify the installation media. Keeps saying to insert Links 2001 CD #1. I'm assuming its the copy protection and the emulated CD ROM drive. How do I get around this? I've tried all the options listed at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/228985 . Am I SOL? Jeff |

Am I SOL? > > > Jeff shortcut will have a Run As Administrator on its context menu. Run the vm by right clicking the shortcut and choose RAA. Just about all copyprotected media have to be run in a vm with elevated rights. |
