| | Error when adding programs to guest os I burned some programs I wanted to put on my virtual pc since I didn't understand the help file on making a shared folder between the host and guest. My host pc reads and understands the files but when I load it up via the cd to the guest and try to use it, it says parameter incorrect for all the files. |

You need to tell us what the host and guest operating systems are. A shared folder is a folder on the host that you select by right clicking on the folder icon at the bottom of the virtual machine window. You navigate to the folder on the host and select a drive letter. Then you open Computer (or My Computer) in the guest and you will see a folder with a network symbol on its bottom. That's the shared folder. |
