He is also saying that he is using Windows Server 2003 as the host with guests on Virtual Server. He is just posting to the incorrect newsgroup for the system he is using. But still the number of users that can access a single guest simultaneously depends on the *guest* operating system, which he does not mention. But given that most people here tend to think that Windows is the only OS in existence, we can assume that he is testing on XP or Win98 or similar guests and there it is not possible to have multiple, simultaneous and independent desktops on those. By the way, Martin Kovac, you are using the wrong terminology.... You do not "plug VHD:s" into Virtual Server! What you refer to as VHD to us means the virtual disk file on the host (extension VHD) used by a virtual machine as its hard disk. Virtual machines are commonly referenced by the word "guest" to differentiate from the software supplying the virtualization (VPC2007 or VS2005) running on the "host" PC. |
