New VM Wizard stuck on Quick Launch Bar on Virtual PC 2007 SP1

My New Virtual Machine Wizard for Virtual PC 2007 SP1 x64 is stuck on my
quick launch bar and I cannot get it to maximize. Any ideas? Impossible to
create a new VM now!

Tried:
Uninstall/reinstall
removed all VMs started fresh.
rebooted through these attempts.

Frustrating! Please help! I think now I am going to install VM Server just
so I can continue.

Thanks!

Re: New VM Wizard stuck on Quick Launch Bar on Virtual PC 2007 SP1

Bob,

I did not lose the console. The New Virtual Wizard was stuck on the quick
launch bar. This removal of the options.xml may take care of it!?? I removed
Virtual PC and went to VS 2005 R2. It had problems with my Broadcom:

Virtual Server could not open its emulated Ethernet switch driver. To fix
this problem, re-enable the Virtual Server Emulated Ethernet Switch service
on the "Intel(R) 82566MM Gigabit Network Connection" adapter or reinstall
Virtual Server.

I have killed the day!!

Thanks!!

Yes, that should fix it if I understand you correctly.

You don't say what your host OS is, but go into the properties of your
network connection and make sure "Virtual Machine Network Services" is
check marked.

You may also want to check to make sure you have the latest driver for
your NIC.

I had to go to task manager and maximize the New Virtual Machine Wizard. Now it is an enormous window and I cannot re-size it.

Very weird window behavior!
