Use of USB ports

Although I know it's not a new point I'm wondering if there's yet a sensible
solution to the use of USB ports in VPC 2007

There is nothing built into VPC2007 which allows you to access the USB
ports in the host machine from a vm. You can try the third party USB over
Ethernet programs like Fabula Tech.

Yes, use any other VM solution except VPC.

Not quite any other. Virtual Server, VMWare ESX and Hyper-V have no USB
support either.

Re: Use of USB ports

Thanks but tried that and couldn't get the demo program to detect the host so
didn't get very far

VS/ESX/Hyper-V are not in the same market as VPC.

Vmware Workstation/Parallels Workstation/VirtualBox/Qemu are.

Vmware Server can sort of be considered in the same market since it's
free (It also supports USB).

Yes, I apologize for skirting around the fact that VPC doesn't support
USB and supporting hackish solutions like everyone else on this forum
and telling it like it is. It's one of my weaknesses.
