| | Re: Virtual PC 2006 x64 VPC2007 x64 is indeed a 32-bit app, but the drivers included with the x64 installer version are x64. There is not full 64 bit version of VPC. -- Bob Comer On Mon, 11 Aug 2008 02:34:32 +0100, "Mark Natto" <natto@xxxxxx> wrote: Quote: >How come VPC2007x64 installs under the x32 folder ? does it mean the app is >32bit ? as theres already a separate x32 version of VPC2007 already ? whats >really going on here ? > |

| | Re: Virtual PC 2006 x64 To take advantage of more than 4G for one VM you'd need one that supports x64 guests, VMWare has support there as does Microsoft's Hyper-V. If you're talking just multiple 32-bit guests, Virtual Server x64 version would handle it well, it's pure 64-bit for the host. I don't what products run on XP x64 though, I don't have experience with it. -- Bob Comer On Mon, 11 Aug 2008 03:42:13 +0100, "Mark Natto" <natto@xxxxxx> wrote: Quote: >Thanks Bob >Are there any other VM running 64bit, I have a Xp64 with 8GB and would like >to take full advantage of it > >"Robert Comer" <bobcomer-removeme-@xxxxxx> wrote in message >news:ck7v94drdseiakfofmm5cstnrud5rpakjp@xxxxxx Quote: >> VPC2007 x64 is indeed a 32-bit app, but the drivers included with the >> x64 installer version are x64.
