| | [OT] Sparc/Alpha emulators Hello, I am hoping this is not nasty to post in here. But I think some guys here may know. http://www.thefreecountry.com/emulators/index.shtml I've got the above link, but did not think they had any Sparc/Alpha emulators. I know VPC emulate x86 32-bit systems. Is it possible for Sparc/Alpha emulators that run as well as VPC? Thanks Jack |

| | Re: [OT] Sparc/Alpha emulators I've never heard of one, but that doesn't mean it's not out there. It would be quite slow though, as the CPU itself would have to be emulated not just virtualized like VPC does. -- Bob Comer <Microsoft MVP Windows - Virtual Machine> On Mon, 11 Aug 2008 18:27:49 +0800, "Jack" <jl@xxxxxx> wrote: Quote: >Hello, >I am hoping this is not nasty to post in here. >But I think some guys here may know. > >http://www.thefreecountry.com/emulators/index.shtml > >I've got the above link, but did not think they had >any Sparc/Alpha emulators. It is not nearly free though.... -- Bo Berglund (Sweden) |

FWIW, Mac emulators suffer from exactly the same thing for exactly the same reason... -- Mark Rae ASP.NET MVP http://www.markrae.net |
