How to recognize a second Hard disk

My host machine has a secondary hard disk (D:\), which I have shared.
How can I get my vhd to recognize it as a secibdart Hard disk?

A VHD is just a virtual hard drive, I assume you mean the virtual
machine (VM), correct?

Directly, you can't. You can share it via the VMA Shared Folders
options for supported Windows OSes, or just use standard Windows
networking and share the drive on the host and connect to it via
network from your VM.
