Vista - Windows 2003 image created using Acronis

I have imaged one of my windows 2003 server R2 servers. I used Acronis
to image the server and also used Acronis to convert my image to a
virtual pc image. This works fine, It load windows 2003 server great.
But I can not get it to capture my keyboard or mouse. I see a mouse
pointer on the virtual pc window but it will not take "my" mouse.
Please advise.

Did you get any errors when you installed the Additions...?

I've seen similar things happen. Generally, if you wait for a while
and let Windows redetect the hardware, then reset the VM, the next
boot will have mouse and keyboard ability again.
