Vista - How to set up networking

Hi,

I have Vista Ultimate with McAfee as the host operating system and host
internet security.

I've just installed Virtual PC SP1 and Server 2008. The problem is that I
cannot seem to set up the networking on the Virtual PC.

Anyone with some pointers what I'm doing wrong. I am not an expert, yet,
please be patient ;-)

How does your host PC get it's network information, where does the TCP
information come from? If it's direct from your DSL/cable ISP, then
you're probably out of luck for the easiest solution, most only give
you 1 IP.
What is the host NIC, wired or wireless?
What is the host OS? Guest OS is Windows Server 2008?
