Windows server 2008 VPCs

Hello Everybody,

My questions seems to be a frequesnt or generic one:

I've 2 Windows 2008 Virtual PC, i'm goining to a client for providing a
demo, in the client network, i'll be having an ip of his network to my
Laptop Only one IP that will enable me access to internet as well. how can i
run my 3 virtual machines? and let them see internet as well?

You do just the same thing as you would do with three physical machines.
You install software which will allow connection sharing. Since you are
using a server OS in the vms I would not recommend ICS on the host. A server
OS does not play well with ICS.

What OS is running on the laptop? If it is a client OS, ICS is the only
built-in option. A third party NAT router would work better. If it is a
server OS you can run RRAS as a NAT router between the host and the vms.

One reason this crops up often in virtual machine newgroups is the fact
that many people do not see problems like this until they install
virtualization software. Virtualization allows you to run multiple machines,
and so you need to know how networking works.
