| | Win98 network issue I've installed Win98 into VM and trying to establish network connection to XP host. When I'm trying open Host in Guest's Network neigbourhood, the message appears: "Enter password to access resource: IPC$" and password prompt. No message appears when browsing host's shares from host itself. What's the matter? |

Do you have an account on the host which is exactly the same as the one on the guest? To do this without being prompted the workgroup/username/password on the guest must exactly match an account on the host. All three fields must match. |
