Why would the local graphics card affect the VPC

I swapped out the video card I had to an older one with a quiter fan and now
the VPC is extremely slow. I read that the VPC would use its s3 card. But
this is not a grphical issues. It boots slow now, misses key presses, and the
apps run slow. Because I gave it 1.5 gig of memory I disabled the paging
file. That has never given me issues on a dozen machines. But I went ahead
and gave it one and that did not help either.

I have a HPxw4400 workstation with 4GB of ram, The VHD is installed on a
raid 0 array seperate from the O.S. which is on its own spindle.

I know it is related to the host graphics card. I just don't know why.

If the older card had more memory and your OS is only 32bit then you
probably have less memory available to the host OS.

Also try monitoring your guest and host processes to see where your
processor utilization is going.
