That's the beauty of Virtual Machines, they aren't hardware specific so they
will run on pretty much any hardware platform. What that means is you don't
get access to your physical graphics card, just the generic Trident driver.

Installing the Virtual Machine Additions should load the video driver for
the emulated video card.
