| | VPC MAC Addresses My understanding is that each network adapter in an instance of VPC must have a unique MAC address (substantiated by the VPC documentation) but examination of a 2-network adapter configuration yields identical MAC addresses. This also occurs on configurations of multiple instances of VPC. Am I interpreting this incorrectly or doesn't it really matter? -- connie_pilot MCSE 2003/Exchange 2003 |

When I did it was obvious there was no replication and the address did in fact appear as described in the knowledge base article you directed me to. Thanks for the help here. The .vmc file does however repeat a cryptic code a few lines before the MAC address. It doesn't appear to be a SID.
