The VMWare download is hugh because you need to install the OS that runs the
small footprint. It installs it's own version of Linux as I recall.
VPC and VS would be hugh too if they included the Windows OS in the
download. If you want to play with a similiar product try the VMWare Server
1.6, it runs on top of Windows or Linux and is also a free download. Not a
limited time trail either.
