Browse Internet and Virutal PC

If is use a Virtual PC HVD to browse the internet. And if I am
attacked by spy ware or computer viruses. Will the get to my real PC
or just harm the Virtual PC?

Thanking you all in advance.

That depends on how you set it up and what you are infected by. If you
have a network connection between the guest and the host, some nasties can
infect other machines through the network.

Using a different OS such as Linux will minimize the chances.

So which link tells the OP what happens if he gets a virus in his Virtual PC
OS? None that I can see....

Gotta say, I agree with Gordon here.

The OP was not asking whether the host AV would protect the guest, but rather
whether an infection of the guest (which he maybe doesn't care about) could
infect the host (which he would care about).

actually says, my fault.

I was going on was the separate computer idea...
