Explorer often crashes when opening shared folder

    Hello,

I'm using Windows XP SP2, and have a virtual PC set up with another
(pristine) Windows XP. It all works fine, except when I'm using Explorer to
open up a folder shared with my "real" desktop to grab files, Explorer
frequently freezes with the "we're sorry, and can we tell Microsoft about it"
message. I can use Task Manager from the virtual PC to close the window, so
it isn't a catastrophe, just a nuisance. Any ideas?

I find sharing a folder with regular networking to be much more robust.
