| | Virtual Hard Disk If I'm running a Virtual Server on Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 is it safe to store files on a VHD? Should I be concerned that I may be at greater risk with data loss over regualr hard disks? |

| | Re: Virtual Hard Disk I don't lose any sleep over it. You can always copy the VHD to a 2nd hard drive on a different host machine for peace of mind. If your worried that the host machine's hard drive might fail, and the data is critical any good admin is going to tell you to back it up, or store the critical data on a network drive that is backed up, and probably consists of some sort of Raid.
