| | Problem : Reboot of Physical PC Hello VirtualPC 2007 on Windows XP SP3. I am trying to install Windows XP SP2 on a virtual machine. The physical computer *always* reboots during the "Windows XP Prepare for Installation" (This may not be the exact sentence for English OS !) I think the problem occurs when loading the drivers in memory. Any Idea ? Thanks. -- Sam Vimaire <sam.vimaire@xxxxxx-morpork.com> |

If you have hardware virtualization turned on, turn it off on VPC and see if you can install then. If so, then you need to update your BIOS. Next, you could try updating your NIC drivers. -- Cheers, Steve Jain, Virtual Machine MVP http://vpc.essjae.com/ |
