| | Re: Internet con of guest No wonder ICS failed. ICS is a cut-down version of NAT which allows a machine to share another machine's Internet connection. It requires two interfaces, one private and one public (to be shared). On a physical machine that means installing a NIC which you use to connect to the second machine. With VPC you do not need a second NIC in the host. Instead you install a Microsoft Loopback Adapter to act as your private interface. You can then connect the NIC in the vm to this network. You install the adapter from Control Panel|Add hardware|Install hardware I select|Network adapters|Microsoft Then you can install ICS selecting the wireless connection as the public interface (the one you want to share) and the loopback adapter as the private interface.
