What OS are you running on the host machine? It is a problem in the host
OS, not in VPC.

Re: Internet con of guest

Right. Have you installed a Microsoft Loopback Adapter to act as your
private interface?

Re: Internet con of guest

No wonder ICS failed. ICS is a cut-down version of NAT which allows a
machine to share another machine's Internet connection. It requires two
interfaces, one private and one public (to be shared). On a physical machine
that means installing a NIC which you use to connect to the second machine.

With VPC you do not need a second NIC in the host. Instead you install a
Microsoft Loopback Adapter to act as your private interface. You can then
connect the NIC in the vm to this network.

You install the adapter from Control Panel|Add hardware|Install hardware
I select|Network adapters|Microsoft

Then you can install ICS selecting the wireless connection as the public
interface (the one you want to share) and the loopback adapter as the
private interface.

Re: Internet con of guest

No idea. You could try in a Vista newsgroup. It is a Vista problem, not a
VPC one.
