How to Share Network folder in VPC 2007

Hi I'm Trying to share a network folder from the host (vista), to my VPC (XP pro.)
I go to setting share folders select the network folder click ok. I get a message saying could not share network folders on virtual pc.
Does any body have any ideas to do this.

The best solution is to make sure that the host and guest are in the same
network and use normal network shares (as you would between two physical
machines).

In which case it is a Vista problem, not a VPC one (although the
description is a bit vague).

To the OP, can you see the Public folder on the Vista host from the vm?
If you can't, open Network and Sharing Center on the host and enable public
sharing.

When you can see the public folder from the guest, move the files you
want to share on the host to Public Documents.
