I am using VPC 6.0.156.0 - do I need to update anything? From the look of it I have missed the SP1 - is it essential to install that first? Is there any way to find out where or apply to future giveaways of windows 7? Sorry for all the questions. dr del |

I didn't try and enter any licence keys or anything that would possibly break the EULA as far as I could work out. I updated VPC to SP1 before trying anything - for any one reading later you need to reboot your computer to get any network functionality back, would have been nice of it mentioned this. ;-P The additions installed fine so , as long as I'm ok on the license thing, I look forward to having a nosey to see what has changed. :-) dr del |

I was quite liking it too. Is there any way to find out who to contact in regards to the recent distribution of the OS to the (I assume) journos and tech guys? Probably couldn't hurt to ask - longshot I know. dr del |
