Windows vista Home Premium With VPC 2007

Hi,
I have installed VPC 2007 on my Windows vista Home Premium 32 bit systems.
During installation I got this message " You are not running on a supported
operating system, Please see Microsoft virutal pc help for the list of
supported
host operating systems."
And whenver I try to run VPC 2007 (with windows xp virtual machie) my
windows vista gets hanged.
Simply I'm unable to run VPC 2007 on vista home premium 32 bit.

Does any one knows any known issues related to VPC 2007 with vista home
premium 32 bit ?

Regards

That is correct. Microsoft do not support VPC 2007 on Vista Home Basic or
Vista Home Premium. However, it runs perfectly.

Highlight the virtual machine in the VM console and click the Settings
button - is hardware virtualisation enabled? If so, try disabling it...

Hi Mark,

Thanks alot for your prompt reply. I tried disabling " Hardware
Virtualization" but I'm afraid no help at all. It still getting stucked.

The virutal machine that I'm trying to run in vista was running before in
Vista Enterprise 64 bit.? So I just copy that VHD main trying to run in vista
home premium. Does this make any difference ?

Presumably you also copied the *.vmc file? The *.vhd file won't run in
isolation. Did you check that the reference to the virtual hard disk in the
*.vmc file is still correct?

Can you clarify what you mean by "getting stuck"? What *exactly* happens?
How far does the process get...?
