The network adapter will not appear as a wireless NIC in the vm. The
emulated NIC in the vm is a DEC/Intel 21140A 10/100 NIC.
The Virtual Machine Network Services in VPC allow this NIC in the vm to
communicate with the outside world through the wireless NIC in the host. If
you look at the properties of the wireless NIC for the host OS you should
see an entry for VMNS and it should have a check mark in the box next to it.
Some wireless NICs simply will not work with VPC. See this entry in Ben's
