| | Copying VHD to a different Host machine leads to OLD VM view Hi All. i am using MS Virtual PC and have a VM on [ Machine-A with Windows 2003 Enterprise edition]. Now i have copied the VHD and VMC Files on [Machine-B with Windows 2003 Standard edition]. i have pointed MS Virtual PC to this VMC file. it does load the VM BUT it shows ONE Month Old state of VM. i have also tried creating new VMC and pointing it to this VHD but same happens again.. I have also tried Deleting the VHD File and Copying it again to recheck to correct file but no output. It is interesting to note that the VHD was Copied after properly shutting down the VM BUT still it is showing vewry old VM state with no new files as actually are produced on SOurce VHD. i have also tried re-logging the machine-B with machine-administrator account to check but there is no clue. Please suggest. |
