Quote: > is > this the only option ? we do not use DHCP If yes, then the virtual machine it's trying to boot from network, because you did not 'insert' any bootable media, nor did you somehow made the virtual harddisk bootable. Capture a bootable CD/ floppy or image of one (ISO or VFD) and boot from that to install an OS on the virtual harddisk (including partitioning and formating it), the same way you would do with a brand new and absolutely blank physical PC. |
