| | Multiple application Hi all, I have an application softwre that use to monitor an external device via COM port. Please let me know if I can use VP to install the same software for monitoring two such device via 02 COM port on PC? Any comment is appreciated. |

If it uses event driven reception of data then it may not work reliably if you use VPC2007. There is a bug there that seems to interfere with such communication. In that case you are beter off using VPC2004SP1 where this works fine (I use it all the time with an OS/2 guest operating system). However, I think that if your host is Vista you cannot install VPC2004SP1. I think that you need VPC2007 in order to be compatible with a Vista host. -- Bo Berglund (Sweden) |
