Connect to host's webserver from VirtualPC

Hello!

I want to connect from an xp-virtual-pc to the webserver running on the
host computer? If possible without an internet connection...

Thanks for an answer!

Kind regards,
Peter

What have you tried? It really depends on how networking is set up on
the host and guest.

If the host has a NIC connected to a network it should work by default.
Both host an guest will look like two separate machines on the LAN.

If the host does not have a network connection you will need to set up a
Microsoft Loopback Adapter and set the NIC in the vm to use that network.
You will find instructions on how to install a MLA in the help files on the
host.

Hi Bill,

How about another way around, I am trying to connect to website on guest.
But, I count not. From guest to host is fine.

I guess it's some setting, tried a few things, not working.

Thanks,
George

If a connection works one way but not the other it is almost always a
firewall problem.
