| Guest | Re: Vista screensavers in VPC That sounds about right. The emulated video card will not support any of the new 3-D screensavers. | Guest | Re: Vista screensavers in VPC Thank you. That's too bad. I only realized this because the Photo one was not running when I booted the machine today and there was this tiny font on a black background that I had to really squint, and put my nose close to the screen to actually read, that said the screensaver was not running due to an error. So, I decided to see if other screensavers built into Vista were working and that's when I got that message about the video card. (I got the problem with the Photo screensaver easily fixed. Somehow, the box where you put in the path to your own photos was checked instead the box that uses the Vista photos). | Guest | Re: Vista screensavers in VPC Not surprising. The video card emulated is a Trio S3 -- with only 4Mb of RAM. | Guest | Re: Vista screensavers in VPC No, it's 8MB and you can double that to 16MB. (But that is still a weak video card, I realize).
