| | Printing from Virtual PC2007 My host PC is networked and running Windows XP Professional. I have installed Windows Server 2003 with Office 2007 on my guest PC. I have been trying to find out how I can print to a networked printer from my Virtual PC but have been unsuccessful. All the articles that I found do not work for me. Can someone assist me? Thanks. |

Is your virtual machine in the same workgroup / domain as your host? Can you print from your host to the networked printer? If so, how are you connecting to it? -- Mark Rae ASP.NET MVP http://www.markrae.net |

Well, the obvious way is to have the host share the printer on the network. Did you try that? But one problem you may have is that many consumer level printers do not have drivers that work with Server OS's (or 64-bit OS's). -- David Wilkinson Visual C++ MVP |
