The reason for this is you cannot enable Windows Authentication in IIS. Miscrosoft has screwed us this way; SQL Server Reporting Services does not work for this same reason. | | Re: Will Virtual Server work with Vista Home Premium I was able to install Virtual PC (with the warning about the lack of support) on a laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit version). My intention was to install Windows 2000 Professional Edition so I could install a version of the Cisco VPN that won't install under Vista 64-bit. I don't know if what I'm trying is even going to address that issue but I figured I would take a shot. However, the Windows 2000 VM won't recognize the Windows 2000 installation disc. I don't know if this is due to an incompatibility with Virtual PC 2007 or is due to another factor.
