is Guest OS possible access Host OS File system?

I had read some article about that , the answer is no.
But is it safe to using virtual pc for development & testing?
Because i would like to write a software Like CCleaner for Vista.
It will clear some cache, some unuse file (maybe system file), some uninstall information.
I will run under Guest OS, but is it possible affect the HOST OS?

Another way , is there some virus can affect the HOST OS when active on GUEST OS?

It is perfectly simple for a guest to access its host's file system via
standard networking.

Yes.

Yes. The answer to this question, like 99% of questions related to VPC, is
to consider the virtual machine as exactly the same as a physical machine.
Because it is. The fact that it's made of software rather than hardware is
completely irrelevant to the software (both OS and apps) running on it - it
won't even know...

The host's anti-malware protection won't protect any guests running on it:
