Vista - VPC message: "Internal VM error(13)"

Hi all,

Trying to install a specific Linux distro under VPC, I keep getting an
"internal virtual machine error(13)" message from VPC, and then the VM gets
reset.

Does anybody know what exactly is this "error 13"? (A specific exception,
like an unhandled #GP in the VM, something else?) Is there anywhere a list
of such error codes? (I know installing Linux under VPC is a pain, but I
would like to do it anyway.)

I means that your installation tried to have the CPU execute an
instruction it cannot do. Right at the moment, I can't remember the
site that shows all the possible operating systems that can (and can't)
be installed as a VM. Perhaps someone will come along and add the URL
for that site.

I got the same error message when I tried to install iRMX (V2.1) from Intel.

it's for 2004, but there's no significant change in VPC's OS
compatibility from 2004 to 2007, only what MS "supports".
