>Sorry about sounding confused, but I am. You install VPC2007 64 bit on your Vista 64 bit in order to be able to
create virtual machines. This installes the same 32 bit VPC2007 system
on your PC as on Vista 32, except some lowlever drivers are 64 bit.
Any virtual machine you create using VPC2007 must have an operating
system installed onto it just like a normal bare metal physical PC. So
you need the installation media and the license to go for this.
Note that no matter which bit size the host operating system is
VPC2007 is only able to create 32 bit virtual machines and therefore
you can only install 32 bit operating systems into such a machine.
