| | Drag and drop does not work when the user is switched Hello, Host: WinXP Guest: Win Vista Ultimate When I log off as administrator and switch to a different user (regular) I cannot drag and drop files between host and guest. Restarting Windows Vista restores that functionality. Is that normal? Thanks, Jac |

| | Re: Drag and drop does not work when the user is switched No, it is not a permissions issue. And that problem is not limited to Vista. The same problem appears in Win XP as guest. Please just try it yourself this 1. Start VPC. Login in guest as administrator. 2. Switch user in the guest. Drag and drop will be disabled. But, if you start guest and login directly as the same user drag and drop works perfectly. | | Re: Drag and drop does not work when the user is switched I love drag & drop between host and guest! Also copy & paste. It is a very convienent way, specially if you need to do that quite often. | | Re: Drag and drop does not work when the user is switched Is it so hard to try that Steve? I can give you the exact instruction what to do. And please do not be afraid of damaging your guest. You can always roll back changes to your guest and I can show you how to, if you do not know. Please just say so. I really need to know if that problem is realted to VPC or my computer.
